Toronto more liberal than Sydney ? (cities, American, compared)

Hello. I always thougt Toronto was more progressive than Sydney. But then I realized that liberals were more to the centre fiscally... So here's my question : which city beetween Sydney and Toronto is more to the left socially and fiscally ? Thank you very much !

No idea, probably sort of similar, both being the most liberal in their countries along with Melbourne, Montreal and Vancouver.

Maybe... The only thing is that if we don't consider the liberals to the left, Sydney is way more progressive. But I don't think it is so that's why I'm asking.

Not so sure about Toronto being the most liberal of Canada. Maybe Montreal?

Most large Canadian cities are quite liberal in the North American context but Montreal would be the most liberal (and even socialist of the bunch).

Economically though not super-conservative Toronto is still quite a bit more to the right than Montreal is.

Vancouver is probably more to the left than Toronto is on this front as well.

On social and moral issues, Montreal again. Vancouver and Toronto are probably about the same.

Sydney in my opinion would be roughly equivalent to Vancouver and Toronto, but less liberal than Montreal.
