.........and boy doesn't it feel like it! (yesterday wasn't too bad either ). The jasmine is blossoming in my friend's garden and we have baby birds nesting in the palm trees. I've picked my first bunch of bananas and they're ripening on the deck, the first gas bottle of the season has been swapped and the DIY stores are humming.

What's spring like in your part of the world?

Here's hoping for 100 mm in the first 2 months of spring. Started with about 12 mm.

We had a few days of rain and nothing since, just blustery now. Maybe there'll be a drop for us on Sunday fingers crossed.

A nice start to spring, with -1/0C nights and 17-18C days.

Has been dry lately, so some rain to push the grass along, would be nice

Maleny's Real Food Festival starts on 13 September, that's usually a sign that spring is well underway. But I think the forecast is for rain this weekend so it could be a welly and brolly job.

Wow! Picture looks good, it's Autumn here, witch means winter and darkness is here soon... WISH I WAS IN AUS!

Lovely photos. I visited your beautiful country in 1997 and still remember what a great trip it was. Don't know if I'll ever make it back, but I am glad I got to see it at all.

Have a wonderful spring!

I spent the first day of spring on the golf course. Got a bit of a tan to show for it as well
