Certainly the current NZ government with its policies seems to be continuing to receive praise around the world including from "real" Poms.

NZ has the highest immigration in over a decade, and clearly the shine of the larger Aus economy has seriously dulled for Kiwis with thousands returning home which offsets any loss.
