My bro, though a British immigrant, had to have a qualification to work in a bar... Is that a genuine thing for Aus, or is that just for some pubs? Ever way a qualification to sell stuff is odd, but there we go... Australia is Australia and I would do anything to live there, even if it meant I had to live in NZ for 10 years or somink! LOL

You mean an RSA? It's basically a bit of paper that says you know not to serve someone who is passed out at the bar.
RSAs can be done on-line, they're very easy to do. You can't serve drinks without one, which is probably a good idea considering you personally can be fined if you breach the licensing laws.
There were 302,026 HNWIs in Australia in 2013. These HNWIs held US$897 billion in wealth, with wealth per HNWI valuing US$2,969,371.
• Australian HNWI numbers increased by 2.4% in 2013, following a 5.4% increase in 2012.
• Australian HNWIs held 22.7% (US$204 billion) of their wealth outside their home country at the end of 2013, which is in line with the worldwide average of 20-30%.
I've moved a lot in my life but the only time I ever cried about it was leaving Brisbane . . . not because I was that in love with Brisbane but because it meant leaving Aus. and not coming back for at least two years.

Public drunkenness or disorderly conduct can get you arrested in most places but a quick walk around the Valley on a Friday night proves that few people in Brisbane ever are.
But it's housing. It's a nonsense calculation. It isn't more "wealth" because you have to live somewhere in Australia. A place isn't "richer" just because you are forced to pay a higher proportion of income/wealth to living expenses.
How is Australia "richer" if the housing market is crazier? There is no way to live in Australia and avoid the housing burden.
