Ranked by median wealth per adult (which favours countries with lower levels of wealth inequality) Australia top the list of the world's richest people $225,000 (US) per person. By comparison the USA has $54,000, the UK $130,000

Not bad, Australia is also according to various surveys the best place to live, battling it out with Norway in Human Development Index.

That's correct (OECD ranks Australia best place in the world to live, New Zealand 11, UK 10). It isn't too bad for retired people either, second only to Denmark for its ability to fund the lifestyles of retirees. Apparently our superannuation system is one of the best in the world.

I have learned to stop paying attention to any survey claiming X is better than X..
too many stupid, meaningless surveys.

Normally surveys are meaningless, however this one does seem to have some validity.

Hell it's Australia... Dano if "Australians are the world's richest" is a true statement... But I know the country is the most luckiest place to be born in!!! Australia's definitely got the best quality of life in the world... Though from what I hear you have to get a qualification to get a simple pub job, which is odd... But other than that, one of the best countries in the world, and you guys know what flag to use, cus the Union Jack is the best flag in the world!
