I have noticed that pollution seems to be on the rise here. Street after street is littered with waste. I understand this is probably a consequence of an increasing population, but it doesn't have to be.

We should impose sanctions on pollution in our cities, like Singapore. Keep Australia Beautiful is a great campaign but it should be an everyday thing, not something that comes around once a year.

I think shops and retailers should have bins to dispose of packaging so we don't have to take it home with us. Maybe if they made to get rid of it it would stop the manufacturers from using so much of it?
