A born natural. I truly fret for you people living in the minor states Out East. Living in angst of what the future may hold, in the hands of inept leadership not hard to see why border controls are hastily reestablished from time to time in order to preserve The West's superior quality of life.

Grr a new case in Sydney of unknown source.

I imagine Annastacia will slam the border shut again, seeing as we are booked to go up there again later in the month!

Getting my first vaccination next week, wanted it out of the way before we fly again. Now, it is if we fly again.

Lets hope it works out.

It should also apply to restricting our right to leave the country!

Gee with this bloke in charge in Victoria, how long before they blow it again.

The rules don't apply to him apparently. I wonder how many of his team can flout them too.

Australia, NZ, Mainland China, HK, Macau and Taiwan now have a zero covid tolerance policy or culture.
The result is very low or zero current infection rates.
1 to 20 new cases do not lead to tighter restrictions or lockdowns in most other countries.
Dont wait. Go strict when new cases are found. Infection will become zero again in about a week.

Yes, the anxiety in Melbourne yesterday when five cases announced! As most expect that the week long lockdown to be extended.

One good thing is that the testing and especially vaccination rates have gone right up. There had been a lot of complacency about the vaccines but of course the booking system crashed this week.

Actually speechless...

Only on Friday last week, the day after Victoria went in to full lockdown, did its government do what all other state and territory governments did months ago – implement a universal QR code system.
