You sure about that troubes? Your own descriptions of what you imagine Italian life to be like doesn't really reconcile with this claim.

Well maybe one day you may have the possibility to see how life functions in Italy for yourself. Just try to leave preconceived thoughts behind and go with an open mind. Hard but worth the effort.

Haha yes, maybe. When I go back I will seek out this evidence of an ascetic lifestyle that is all pervasive, apparently. I just haven't seen it(outside of monasteries of course), quite the opposite really.

Firstly, if ever blessed enough to get the chance to visit Italy, you will need to open your eyes and as I mentioned leave your Aussie preconceptions in the sock drawer at home. Italy has a lot of beauty but I freely admit may escape the mental outlook of many bogans.

Have you thought about a 'discovery tour' to countries like Italy to learn a little with regards to the meaning of aesthetics? Thought not. But stay in ignorance fine by me.

Do you see yourself as a bogan? Is it something you wear with pride? That's okay. But there is more. Much more. But don't trouble yourself with the missing bits. You is what you are.

Finally, you looked up the spelling Took you long enough troubes. As I've said before, using the wrong words all the time is a real barrier to communication.
