How has this been recieved in NZ?

It certianly should have been declared as a No ball"! As Brad Haddin's gloves were far too close to the wicket and do appear to knock the bails off.

Brad Haddin (AUS Wicket Keeper) probably should have spoken to Dainel Vettori (NZ Capatin) first about the incident, Rather than speaking to the Media? However, I think Vettori's comments about Haddin's character were slightly uncalled for?

YouTube - Cricket, Controversial dismissal of Neil Broom.

it's very ambiguous (i can't tell whether he was out from that youtube video), which in cricket, usually means the batter is given not out.

Also, a NZ-Aus match isn't a NZ-Aus match without Aus doing something dodgy

I agree with you. I can't properly tell and I don't see how the on-field Umpires could either?

Maybe there should have been more consultation with the 3rd Umpire, When the decision was actually made?

It was out but if you were the umpire you probaly could not of seen, BUT that is their job to pick up things like that, we get paid to do our job properly and they are the same, even a consult with the third umpire would of been helpful.

Definately, The Umpires do a fantastic job and a consult with the 3rd Umpire would have helped clear things up.

I still don't think it was out? But I'm not an Umpire.
