Lol, that would be Chadstone, the biggest shopping centre in Australia.

I'm so cold here today I think I'll expire from heat exhaustion!

I should copyright that term! Try Ed Hyder's. I reckon that bloke has everything AND I bet he'd deliver!

Man I wish I was there! I want ANZUS cookies!

LMAO!! Only penguins around here are fairy penguins at Phillip Island.

This place is so "classy" even the folk from Toorak come shopping here! Even the roaming gangs around here are exclusive! All grafitti virtuoso's in private school uniforms.

That'd be in the Southern Hemisphere Tri!

AND I love how they say latest re-development. The damn thing hasn't stopped growing since I was born I don't reckon!

I think the wiki needs a bit of an update.

SEE???? See why I struggle to consider the pace of America faster???

It's BEDLAM around here most days of the week and don't even get me started about Christmas!!! Christmas in New England is the most relaxing, laid back experience I've ever had in comparison to The Fashion Capital!

That reminds me ... Perth's 'pace' revs up to a more frantic level on Saturdays. Shoppers desperate to stock up before most shops close up for the weekend.

Worse is the DIY-type places. We're fixing up the kitchen and are restricted to Saturday mornings for all the trudging around one has to do when one tarts up the abode. Most places closing at noon. Or .... ooooh .... 12:30!

Loads of traffic in business districts. And Saturday afternoons in the supermarket are wonderful (not). Shelves mostly empty, shoppers dashing around desperately at the last minute for provisions.

That's so true, if you want to experience something completely different you need to travel overseas. My wife wants to travel abroad to see other countries but for me living here for just over 2 years I prefer to see the USA because it's exactly like you said wanneroo, 50 countries in one. I'm amazed at how different life is from one place to the other.

I live in New England now and compared with Auckland it's slow paced. It's even slower compared with Sydney. Down in NYC however the perspective changes dramatically.
