Whie not a Kyle fan ;I have to say without him rcing would not have the excitement it does. Too many whinngg fans that emualte thier whing driver favorite. can remmeebr when the same good ole boys whined that gordon and johnson were not real drivers too.
Kyle Busch led today's Nationwide race at Phoenix wire-to-wire and was largely unchallenged save for a couple laps when Carl Edwards got alongside him late in the race.
The Nationwide Series point standings are a cluster, too, thanks to NASCAR's stupid rule allowing the Cup drivers to compete without collecting points. (They shouldn't be competing at all.)
Danica Patrick's unimpressive 14th at Daytona and today's 17th (3 laps down) are good enough for FOURTH PLACE in the standings. AYFKM?
I've been watching NASCAR for well over 20 years and I'm just about done. It's a damn joke anymore.
Your right Cup drivers SHOULD NOT BE competing at all in the Nationwide race.
They are the big Pro.
Let these Nationwide driver have their own series without the big boys(girls).Danica Patrick, well ! she is a joke too. My daughter who is 22 asked me why doesn`t she do commercial about her driving and not Sex appeal?? Then she watched her and said Sh-- Now I can see why. She is not impressive so they have to go with sexy commercials. They will not know how to market a lady who can keep up with the boys , without using sex appeal.Hope that will be soon.
Pokrplr, Thanks for sharing. How cool is that. I love those suites--the only way to go! Looks like you and the wife had a great memorible time. Wonderful!
I thought that was a bit risky move with still 71 laps to go, but he almost held onto it. The grass can cause a car going 170-180 to get a bit loose I'm a thinking. Which shows how great a move the pass in the grass Sr. made against Awesome Bill back in the day really was. Shrub admitted he made a mistake, and I don't look for him to make any today.....Go get 'em!!!

Kyle took a chance and it didn't work out but he only had two wheels off.
I just watched the replay of the pass in the grass and Earnhardt regained control after being forced to the grass by Elliott so it was more of a save than an actual short cut through the grass.

yeah , what a difference a couple of years make. The Kyle of old would have not given a post-crash interview, probably blamed Brad, his pit crew, and threw in a bunch of profanities over the radio.......he sure showed some maturity yesterday. Like Kyle really cares, but if he keeps that up I could become a fan of the 18.

Come on in......the water's fine!
