More points for the Petrov! That was a good race, Vettle swung wide into the wet and couldn't do much with Button during the pass.

Yes I know they only turn left.
You try turning left at 180 mph for 4-5 hrs in a car with little down force, tires way to narrow and brakes too small in a car this is about to spin out any second and then tell me how turning left is so easy.
If it was so easy Montoya would be running away with the NASCAR Cup Championship and maybe Dario Franchitti might still have a ride.

F1 is nothing more than millions of dollars spent on engineering a car and then employing the next Go Cart champion to sit in it while the engineers guide it along the track.

That may be exciting for people to watch who enjoy seeing high dollar cars but for real race fans fender to fender is where the excitement is.

But hey some people enjoy watching a chess match.
Spoken like a true armchair QB/driver that has never taken a green flag in their life... engineers have almost MORE influence in Cup BECAUSE the cars are the same and it all comes down to colorful interpetations of the rules book by team engineers. And your description of what its like behind the wheel is far off as well.

I watched Silverstone this last weekend and had to go google the tire tech - amazing slip angles.
