I'm seeing better drivers, better equipment and better preparation.
You're only cheating if you get caught.
But in the grand scheme of things some teams just gel like no others:
Earndhart/Shelmerdine
Everham/Gordon
McReynolds/Allison
Stewart/Zippadelli

And how does Hendrick somehow come up with better equipment than Childress? Did Childress all of a sudden forget how to build championship winning cars?
Maybe because Hendrick owns how many GM dealerships compared to Childress.
Perhaps because Hendrick knows who to grease or has more grease than Childress.
Do fans not remember who was the car owner for "the greatest driver in NASCAR history"
How does an unknown off road racer from Ca. become a 5 time consecutive champ? Is that driver really better than Jeff Gordon?I don't think he is.
Just because somebody gets caught doing illegal activities and is punished does does not mean he won't do something else illegal.
The guy is a crook and so is Brian France.

Several team owners forgot how to build championship cars because they lacked innovation and were not willing to keep pace with technology. Childress, Yates, Wood Bros, Roush, Petty. While Roush & Childress are very competitive they have been sleeping at the wheel more than once. As for the others thier downfall was not keeping up with the pace of the sport and the results reflect it.
Besides if you were going to cheat up someone wouldn't you dump those efforts into the series fan favorite rather than someone who has the pizzaz of a sheet of paper?

Roush put all five cars into the chase the first year, how is that sleeping at the wheel? Has any other team put five cars into the chase?
Hendrick spends more money than anybody else just like those clowns at Red Bull do in F1.
Does anybody want to see Hendrick win the Championship every year? Never mind that's already been answered.

I think he puts just as much money into Jr's team as he does JJ. but Jr does not have his heart into NASCAR. Nice young man but I think he has other interests.

Well no, because there have not been any other 5 car teams and Roush hasn't done that since.

Maybe because Hendrick owns how many GM dealerships compared to Childress. So?
Perhaps because Hendrick knows who to grease or has more grease than Childress. No argument there.

Just because somebody gets caught doing illegal activities and is punished does does not mean he won't do something else illegal. Like what? Do you have any examples or proof he's doing something else illegal, or is he just guilty of winning?
The guy is a crook and so is Brian France. Your opinion
Sounds like you're still mad 'cause Roush came up short.

Using PDD's frame of thinking this means all multiple championship sport players cheat.

Hendrick got caught bribing a car manufacture and NASCAR suspended him for a year. That was cheating.

What other car owners have been suspended because of illegal activities.

And yes I am pissed that Roush came up short because Jack insists on playing by the rules. He fired his own CC because he was not playing by the rules.
If it make you feel better because you admire a convicted felon that's your problem.

No, that was breaking the law, NASCAR banned him after the conviction was handed down. If Hendrick were "greasing" the right people as you have contended there would have been no recourse by NASCAR. Keeping in mind Hendrick won at least 4 championships while Bill Jr. was alive.
Roush cheats just like every other front running team, some are better at it than others. The jobs of the car builders are to stretch the grey area in the rule book as far as they can get away with. Remember how cheating fines increased dramatically when Gary Nelson was hired as technical director?
