Not a huge fan but I'll go with Stewart.

I just learned that some of my gf's family knows Tony Stewart pretty well, they say he is nothing like the angry anti social guy he seems to be in the media. He is very approachable and friendly and is blue to the core.

Stewart can be a bit of an AZZ when he is POed as he can be just after a race.. but I have seen him in different spots and he is a genuine good guy. I know Kyle Petty praised him for his work with Victory Junction. He says fans don't always see the good side of Tony... but its there. WE got to witness a bit after Saturday's race. You could honestly tell that Tony was less concerned about his WIN than he was the folks on the track and in the stands.. he was visibly upset and concerned moments after getting out of his car in victory lane.

What does 'blue to the core' mean?

As the most beloved driver in NASCAR, gotta go with Shrub. If they can keep an engine under him that is.

bad luck again yesterday for Kyle.... he seemed to be running well and coming to the front before the spin, the wall and the lap behind. I think Kyle has matured a lot over the past 12 months and will slowly start to gain more and more fans that is if he can win without having that immature edge..

Yeah, the Shrubster got into the corner a tad hard and spun it out. Was tough to get anything going after that, maybe he can rebound at his hometown this coming weekend.
