i think stenhouse is getting the short end of the stick here. things were not as they seemed.
The first one.. I could agree with you on that. But the second.. That was over-aggressive driving. And then the third one (I think) where he wound up hurting himself by pushing the fender in on the tire..
This is an odd situation where I think winning the plate races has hurt him more than if he hadn't won them.. In a way, at least.

the second one was a racing incident. he got aero tight in the corner when he rolled up on the car in front of him.
the third one i didnt see so i cant tell you what happened.
All 3 were the 17 forgetting he has 2 pedals and each has a role to racing. Granted plate racing almost demands that drivers not do this but a lot less cars would be junk if guys lifted/braked. I agree that winning early on plate tracks messed up his driving. He needs to rethink his driving that's for sure.

one also has to take into account the 39 other cars on the track as well, and what they might be doing. did he guy behind you get a run, but you have to lift because the guy in front slipped a bit? and what happens when the guy behind you runs into the back of your car, especially if it is at the wrong angle?
and how about the drivers that for some reason prefer a loose race car? you know the kind where a little tap in the wrong place means that guy is going spinning into the wall instead of catching the back end of the car and they keep going?
I see Stenhouse told the press that Busch should keep his mouth shut. Maybe tell Kyle that to his face. heh Kyle definitely lit him up but well justified after that Daytona mess. Stenhouse sure needs to pick his fights better.
Night race today. Not sure I've ever watched this race at Kentucky.
I hope the 10 people who actually showed up to watch tonight's race in person didn't fall asleep. This is the first Kentucky race I've actually tuned in for, and it will be the last. It was boring as hell.
For some reason Nascar has really been boring this year. Have not been able to watch more than 15 minutes and I turn it off.
