That reads very.. Odd.

I think it does boil down to that they wouldn't sign off on it NOW.. But the 'tried for the last 4 years'.. The N-bomb has only been an issue since April or so.. The way that reads, it sounds like Ford wouldn't sign off 4 years ago..

And, I believe it was pretty well established that Larson resigned with CGR because he felt loyalty to them.

Anyway.. I'll assume that it's just a tweet limit situation there that makes it sound so muddled and that Ford just wouldn't sign off after the controversy.

Looks like Chevy is starting to turn the corner and being dominate again. Hendricks collaboration with ECR engines is paying off as well. HMS has a good chance of all four drivers in the Chase next year.

But all that may change with NextGen in 2022.

Curious that Larson still doesn't have a sponsor. I thought when Hendrick signed him he probably had a deal in hand.

No. he's got nothing. And they even lost Pepsi. Not due to Larson or anything, but Pepsi is apparently no longer sponsoring Hendrick. They used to do a race or three a year and served as an associate on all cars.

I said somewhere, he's going to be sponsored by HendrickCars.com, and they'll try to move a couple of races to get people to try and make sure there's no backlash.

But I don't think he has a chance of a major sponsor until next year. Which is why we all thought it would be Haas that he'd go to. I just didn't think Rick would run the team out of pocket.

The fact that Bowman was moved from the 88 to the 48 is a pretty clear indication that they inquired to Ally about Larson and got a 'hell no' in response.

NationsGuard, some type of auto warranty company, will be on Larson’s car at Daytona.

Well, sometimes, you just need one.

So long as there's no giant controversy then.. And I'll bet you money that Fox doesn't mention a single word or sneeze about anything that happened..

It could be the opening of the gates.

I still figure he has no major sponsor this year.. But likely will land someone for a trial period who will sign on for next year.

I don't agree with what the kid said.. But, he does deserve a second chance.

Freightliner! Cincinnati Inc and Nationsguard.
Looking forward to seeing the Freightliner paint scheme. Should be a good year for Hendrick . Chase winning the championship, Larson coming onboard, Bowman has been consistently good.

Yeah I missed that. I figure Larson will be running up front early and often and the sponsership issue will resolve itself. He's hugged the cactus, time to move on.
