Sorry if asked already - anyone have the scoop on the upcoming Daytona 500?

This would be my 3rd time camping out with friends/family. Curious if restrictions or changes have been announced. Really enjoyed it last couple years. Was starting to be a nice tradition.

Don't expect anything before early February at best. Situation is too fluid.

I wouldn't expect full capacity allowed by that time. Which also means.. Likely no camping. But.. Can't say that for certain.

Daytona International Speedway announced that the 2021 Daytona 500 will be run with a limited crowd because of the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In its statement, the track did not specify how many fans will be allowed to attend the race, which is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14.
The track also confirmed that a re-seating process for fans who already have bought tickets will take place to ensure social distancing between groups.
The process is expected to be completed by early January.

I still wouldn't take that to heart.

We have no idea what's going to happen in the next ~3 months. It could wind up worse than that and no fans at all. I don't think it'll be any BETTER than those options.. But it could be more restricted.
