I suppose you don't get a top ride unless you can do whatever is necessary.

My dislike for KL predates his racial comment and you assume a lot in thinking that was why.
At least now we understand your reasoning behind your feelings for Kyle. I personally think that some of those maneuvers are just part of racing. Personally crashing someone is not.

When Kyle first started out with Chip Ganassi, it didn't seem like he was as motivated as he is now after what happened last year. Of course we all know that HMS equipment is much better and has benefited Kyle.

Personally, I thought that the Xfinity race had a much better ending for the Championship than the Cup race. Hemric doing the bump and run on Cindric was such a classic, exciting move.

Arguably, one of the greatest overall drivers in our sport is Tony Stewart. He's won just about everything he's ever sat in. When Tony Stewart says that Kyle Larson is one of the greatest drivers he's ever seen...people listen.

And, I'll point out also that the B&R that Hemric pulled was perhaps one of the CLEANEST bump and runs i've ever seen.

He didn't dump him. He got him loose, gave himself a shot that paid off. If he had spun him, like Logano did to Kenseth a few years back.. That's a different situation. Even Gordon pulling the B&R on Rusty, seemingly several times, wasn't as clean as this, and Gordon didn't wreck Rusty those times.

I read something about Hemric's contract with JGR this season.. holy crap. boy only got paid if he scored a top 5.

Now, that's doubling down on yourself.

Listening to Dale Jr recently and he feels that Hemric will struggle at Kaulig Racing due to the equipment there.

Too bad JGR didn't see the vision in signing Hemric for a longer/better contract. I really think that he can drive a car, just has had some bad luck.

Well, I'm not sure what the exact deal is there. I mean, we know they don't really have a spot for him in Cup. Kurt is at 23XI for 2 years, I believe.. We assume Bubba is there at least another year and most likely more. I don't see any of Gibbs' 4 drivers going anywhere.. Maybe Hamlin in a year or two.. Bell likely has another 2 at least.

The pipeline has a clog at the top for Toyota.

Hemric did have a sponsor tho. Poppy Bank was his, not Gibbs. Which, is likely a reason he's going to Kaulig because they lost the sponsor on that car.

I do think Kaulig has the equipment.. The question will wind up being, at least for me, does starting the Cup program take away from the Xfinity program? That's a real danger.
