same here. I didnt even watched the race. i watched the Buffalo Sabres. but yeah Jimmie Johnson constantly winning. And its his crew too. Gordon and MArk are good but JJ always finds a way to pull off a huge ass lead. Its getting old. real fast.

It's really hard to put a "black hat" on JJ and the 48 crew. Those guys are so humble. Even when the reporters try to get JJ to say it's over, or that JJ scares the other drivers, he won't say it. Rick Hendrick did a marvelous job with JJ.

The #48 will win it's 4th straight because they want it more. And until some other driver can get the type of fire that is still burning in the #48 teams bellys, then #48 will win next year like it was said earlier.

JJ does great at Martinsville. His only bump in the road could be 'Dega. Other than that, it's most likely over.

The one thing about racing is that it only takes one little thing to ruin your day, one ten cent bolt to break, one piece of metal on the track the blows your tire with 10 laps to go. So there is hope that Martin or Gordon, maybe Jaun Pablo can catch up, but for the rest, see ya next year!

It looks like the dog and pony show will win it again this year.

This post went over my head I guess. Are you being critical of the #48 team for being so successful? (Apologies if my assumption is incorrect).

JJ has a 90 point lead now over 2nd place. On a 180 point system Mark Martin would have to run perfect and JJ would need one DNF or two finishes worse than 21st the last 5 races to take the Cup away. I don't see that happening

I voted for Mark Martin in hopes he can still do it this year, but if not, Jimmy has it in the bag. 2 more races and it'll be either down to the last one or Jimmy will be uncatchible. And I have to say that I won't be upset if Jimmy Johnson wins again, because of how him and his crew has been humble about their position. But God knows I'd love to see the best man (Mark Martin) that has yet win a championship do it this year!!!

Good race Sunday at Martinsville. JJ, Martin and Gordon all looked strong.

The wild card will be next week at 'Dega. If JJ stays out of trouble and gets a good top 10 finish, then I would say JJ has his 4-peat.

On a side note, how about that whining from Juan Pablo, geesh. Bumping with the #24 is part of racing, but I think the #42 was the aggressive one...so why put the blame on the #24?

I think 'Dega will be my last full race I watch this year if JJ has a big lead after next Sunday...the chase is already very melodramatic. I still believe that the best team should win, which is the #48 of course, but I would love to have it a bit closer, maybe the top three within 75-100 points of each other.
