As aggressive as 42 has been driving this chase....Watch and see....I'm calling it NOW, he (42) will take out 1/2 the field at Dega' ... I just hope the 48 is tangled up in somewhere in that mess

Wishful thinking. I also wish Mark would win it. But how can you knock the #48 team? Hendrick gives all their drivers the same equipment and resources. Yet the #48 team excels.

Roush, Petty, Penske, etc... are all seasoned owners, they know what it takes to win, yet its the #48 team who dominates. The other teams have great talent, get to practice the same as the #48, etc...

The #48 team is charmed. Other teams can only dream of doing as well as the #48 team does even on a bad day. They overcome all obstacles, yet continue to win. Things that would cause most teams to DNF, the #48 gets a top 20. If there ever was a dream team...the #48 is it.

Again, not my choice to win, but if (when) they do I will get up and give them a standing ovation. The #48 team will go down in history as one of the best ever.

Well you say rigged, I say talent.

Jimmie Johnson wins the Pole for Saturday night's race, Mark Martin starts 2nd.

Again, JJ is not my favorite to win, but after qualifying, I swear I could hear the "fat lady" rehearsing her song.

I realizie there are 6 races left (including Sat.), anything can happen....but seriously, when your hot your hot, and the #48 team is like a super Nova or something.

Jimmy Johnson is a "good guy" no doubt but it gets old seeing the same guy win year after year. Really boring to be honest. B-O-R-I-N-G!!!
We ended up going to bed before the race even ended.

Nothing against JJ, he's a great driver and likable as a person, but Nascar should add 300 lbs. of weight to the #48 just to make it somewhat interesting and give the other drivers a remote chance.

I gotta agree with what USNAVRET04 posted about Jimmy Johnson.

He is not the one I want to see win again, but that driver and that team are something else.

On the bright side, he seems to dominate a sport without being arrogant.

rigged--??????

Only someone who believes every single conspiracy theory out there would say that.

Sticking with my prediction that the 48 will get his 4th.

YEP! Other than Dega' - I won't watch another race this year! Congrats Jimmy on #4........For that matter, congrats NEXT YEAR too for #5........
