I now know what Nascar stands for:
N-Not
A-Allowing
S-Serious
C-Competition
A-At
R-Racetracks.

Hey Nascar, if you want the sport to survive you better quit trying to make it a powder puff derby.
I see more competition at the local 1/4 mile track with the women being allowed to actualy race than I do watching the watered down pros on Sunday at the Nascar tracks.
I have absolutely no problem with the drivers equipment, cars, and race tracks being made as safe as technology and materials will allow.
BUT LET THEM RACE.
If I want to watch a damn freight train go by I'll go about a mile from the house and sit on the creek bank by the railroad tracks and watch Conrail.
You are losing your fan base which means losing ticket money, which means losing sponsors, WHICH MEANS LOSING NASCAR.
Nascar has become so damn pasteurized and POLITICALLY CORRECT that it is BORING, BORING, BORING.
If you want the best drivers in the world to be choir boys instead of men who are allowed to race to win then you might as well flood all the race tracks and make bass lakes out them.
This rant comes from a 30 plus years hardcore Nascar fan and will probably never be seen by any big wig Nascar person who gives a hoot about what I think.
But one of these days they might wonder why the public stopped supporting the sport. Maybe this will give them a hint.
I hope someone who cares and has any connections to Nascar will foward this to France or Helton or big money sponsors or team owners.
I want to see Nascar be NASCAR again. If it isn't, there wont be any Nascar in a few years.

WRONG!!! Local dirt track racing (or asphalt) offers better racing, better prices and did I mention better racing? Who cares about 200 mph. They aren't going anywhere near 200 mph at Bristol and that is one of the best tracks on the circuit.

BTW:

Non
Athletic
Sport
Centered
Around
Rednecks
