I'm sure there were many varieties of engines and transmissions back in the 60s. My favorite car of all time was a 68 chevelle Malibu, with a "3 on the tree" and a 307 CI V8 engine. I tried many times to kill that car but it wouldn't die. I really wish I had it today. Also, my dad loved Plymouths - we had a 62 or 63 Valient that had a slant 6 and had push buttons instead of a gear shift. My brother also had a Mercury with a huge straight 6 that is probably still running somewhere.

I agree and no matter how rare it is, I cant help to think that if it was a nice Caprice or Impala if perhaps it would bring a liiiiiiiiittle more $?
