"Some say he's 007's stunt double and a legal genius who yesterday won a court fight with the BBC over Top Gear's tame racing driver. All we know is.. he's called The Stig...."
Why? They'll just get a new Stig, like they did when the old one "died" and white Stig came around.
I wonder what color he'll have this time though.
Considering the green movement, they'll probably make him green. Or they could go the opposite way and paint him blood red from the blood of baby seals.

Top Gear ... green? Remember, these are the folks who got a Toyota Prius to do LOWER mpgs than a BMW M3.
I work in the business and have a lot of friends in Britain in the same business. I even know a few of the "Stigs" and while Ben Collins was the main guy for a while, there are others as sometimes specialized skills are required.
But that is really the point of the faceless Stig as it gives everything impartiality. Some of the Stigs have current or previous contracts with various manufacturers and such so this why no one can say the Stig is sandbagging or whatever.
