I have had it two years as of next week.
It was my birthday present to myself, and restoration was completed two weeks before I got it.

1966 would be my choice, too. In fact, 1966 is my favorite year for several cars... Plymouth Fury, Ford Fairlane, Chevrolet Caprice, Ford Galaxie, Plymouth Belvedere and possibly the Imperial.

Congrats on buying yourself a '66 T-Bird, Bob!

I'm sure the most classic was the '57. But, I have a soft spot in my heart for the 66 convertible. I dated a girl just after high school who's parents bought her a new 66 Canary Yellow T-Bird for graduation. It was pretty cool. She was a bit of a chunk, but quite cute.

I loved the Super Coupes. Mods got a little pricey but I would build another if I could find one with lower miles. I loved the the sound of the Eaton. People thought my car sounded like a small jet engine. I had a midnight blue SC with a Cobra R hood on it like this one.
