Some states allow only 6 digits. Or "SUCCESS" might have already been issued to someone else.

I think the fee for personalized plates should be at least $1,000 a year. If you want to show off, show how rich you are, and help reduce my $70 annual fee to renew XWB-460 (which means, if you're trying to figure it out, "I was in line behind the guy who got XWB-459".

My favorite that I'd seen was CUL8ER. Of course, it was on a muscle car.

To whomever gave me rep for my tag, thanks, but I didn't roll a Benz. But you're not the first to think that's what it means.

The first version, which I had for a couple years, was RLDABONZ. Does that help?

I drive a 2003 Malibu. If I were to get personalized plates it would be "PAID OFF". I have US Navy Veteran Desert Storm plates so I won't do that.

my 62 t-bird has "old bird"

All of my dailys have regular plates. I couldn't find any 1962 yom plates otherwise the bird wouldn't have personalized either. Although when I was in college my truck had the plates: tofrgon - and since I was just about too far gone at that time in life they were appropriate. If only my dad didn't keep telling me that it meant I was missing a tooth . . .
