I'll even expand on that. I wonder how a Toyota will hold up getting riddled with bullet holes? Also, at this level NOTHING is foreign made. The smoke detectors and all the other items in the White House can't take the chance of some kind of internally integrated surveillance device added for spying and stealing our secrets. It must be controlled!
I feel dumber after having read that. I think I'm gonna watch cars drive around in an oval for 2 hours while drinking a 24-pack of PBR, and then line the empty beer cans on a wooden fence outside, and shoot at them with a huntin' rifle.

Good luck! I hope the Land Cruiser holds up for a few yrs. The tranny on my friend's 4Runner just gave out yesterday at 190k miles, but stop-n-go traffic here in LA may be more brutal than what your friend experiences out in the suburbs of the OC or Inland Empire.
stay away from dealer cars and trucks with 200,000+ miles as they are nearing the end of their service life.
and I would always get a independant mechanic to check it no matter where or who you buy it from
also she will need to be the one that decides if it is the car for her and if it suits her needs.
you get what you pay for on the used market id she spend for sthe same SUV in the 8K-9k range it opens doors to newer models and lower mileage cars and trucks.
I agree! And 200,000 miles at 9,500 dollars? Like it's a Corvette! Or like the near $100,000 dollar class.
Isn't Land Cruiser roughly in the Expedition class?
