It may be more efficient but it's considerably more expensive to build an all electric car, plus it takes forever to recharge it.

If the specs for this car are true, it is a really cool idea. However, I think this company has been around for a long time and hasn't made it past 5 miles in that car. Plus you'd have to update it to all the US safety standards (unless a waiver could be had) which would probably render it immobile.
