Oh and have any of you thought about this? The backup cameras have blind spots also. If the driver is staring into the smallish monitor screen, the camera can't tell if Suzie is going to run from teh side to right behind the car backing up, whereas if you're looking behind you it will be apparent. YOure STLL going to have to pay attention to everything outside the canera's field of view before you start to back in AND you'll have to check all around instead of switching your attention solely to the video screen.
Just thought of something. Does this mean that idiots with such equipped vehicles holding me up in the left lane can be made to actualy realize they are in the way by pulling within inches of them? Be careful what you wish for!
