I walk several times a week, taking a shortcut through the employee parking area for a credit union, which usually has about 8 cars in it. The other day I noticed that three of them had temporary tags instead of license plates, so I think three people who work there bought new cars in the past month.

My car rolled 243k miles earlier today ... so no, I don't have that itch. Unless I come across a huge sum of money, I probably won't ever get that itch.

Very nice! After my military retirement I bought a new DTS...nothing says a success during a retirement ceremony when the lucky one drives off in a Caddy!

Do the license plates still have that slogan "Northernmost Southern State"?

Very true but there is hardly any room for the kids or future grandkids. I want to be able to haul the family around in style and top notch performance.

That was badass. I've turned a few laps on a road course in my GTO, most notably behind a Viper, so I know how much of a blast it is to chase a car that is at least equal and in some ways superior to mine.

A CTS-V coupe could be in my future if I find an off-lease or 2 year old used one. Let someone else take that enormous depreciation.

Thanks for your Service--hang in there, it'll fly by. I'm sure Cadillac will be around when your time comes...and God only knows what it will look like or be able to do. But one thing for sure...it will scream "SUCCESS!"

AIRPOWER!
