I used it many years ago in a 70 LeMans to stop a rad leak when I was single and in college... It stopped the leak but also caused it to run hot due to the clogged rad passages. Never used it again

A CUSTOMER REPORTED THAT WHEN HE ORDERED A BOTTLE FROM BAR’S, IT TOOK ONE WHOLE MONTH TO RECEIVE THE BOTTLE OF THE PRODUCT AND HE RETURNED IT IMMEDIATELY, BECAUSE OF THE LOUSY BOX USED TO SHIP IT. IT WAS COMPLETELY DAMAGED AND SMASHED, BUT IT TOOK 2 WEEKS MORE TO RECEIVE THE NEW EXCHANGE BOTTLE. THE CUSTOMER PAID TO RETURN THE BOTTLE TO BAR’S. BAR’S PRODUCTS NEVER REIMBURSED ANY MONEY FOR SHIPPING IT BACK THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT TO BAR’S.
THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINED THAT THEY DON’T HAVE ANY USPS BULK RATE PAID OR NO US POSTAGE AND FEES PAID AS ALL THE COMPANIES DOING BUSINESS.
When someone posted comments on cars, they come immediately after you and posted anonymous reviews and telling everybody that the Bar’s Permanent Head Gasket product is great and they had very good experience and results.

Bar’s Products posted in a couple of websites that the company was created back in 1929 and in others websites posted dates contradicting that date and telling the people that the company was created in 1947. Bar’s has no credibility and is run by a bunch of crooks.

I have heard horror stories from some mechanics about it gunking up your whole system and ruining your engine. However i have used it in various cars without any problems. In one car there was an irreparable leak into the water cooled turbo charger. The mechanics all said to just junk the car. I put bars leak in, it did ntohing. The leak wsas too large. Finally i figured what the heack and put four bottles of bars leak in. It worked. We drive the car another 18 months and then it started leaking again, so we traded it in.

Now we have a van that is probably worth about $1000. It has a cracked radiator. It will cost about $500 to replace it. It seems dumb to repair the car, it will undoubtedly need more repairs next week or next month. However bars leak might get us another six months or year out of it. Once again i am confronted with the same assertions "bars leak will ruin your engine" then why do they sell it? Why did it not ruin my engine the three or four times i used it, not even when i put four bottles of it into a four cylinder car.

I do have one car where we used bars leak and later the heater core plugged up and eventually started leaking. However i flushed it out and it went back to working fine, excpet the ehater core still leaks a little bit. Not sure if that had anything to do with bars leak or not.
