And this assumes that you're living in a place that either has good transit or is walkable/bikeable. So basically 50-90% of trips can be done without having to use a car.
But you still have a car for your mobility needs that can't be covered without it.

You've narrowed the parameters of the question down to a very tiny demographic, or required the respondents to imagine themselves in what, for must of us, is an extremely improbable situation.
I live in such a situation, in a high-rise condo in Chicago. We do a great deal of walking, cycling and CTA and taxi riding and have a car that usually comes out only once a week. It's a Ford Edge.
I'd as soon have something smaller like a Focus but it does the job intended around town and is very satisfactory for the road trips we take.

My family has owned a Toyota Camry since 2001, and it is a very dependable car for the family.
If I had a family in this hypothetical situation, then that would be my choice.
Either that or a "small" SUV.
The situation in this thread is hypothetical. I guess that means people could make hypothetical threads where flying cars exist or cars run off of good ideas.
