As distroted as our civil court system has becaome i thni its a good thing. Airlines have had them for eyars to their betterment on safety and causes. Thso woukld have made it much easier in the recent case involving toyota and saved alot of money and time.I am sure trial lawyers will not like it tho and push it as government spying.I see it has pubic safety and protection against scammers.
Did you know in my state (Indiana), it is now a law that Police do not need a search warrant to search your home, auto, or business? They can simple walk right in at any time and sift through your belongings and personal property. Don't believe me look it up.
If you live in America and still believe this is the home of the free your a brainwashed fool.
Your only "free" if follow every law, rule, and guideline your government passes without you having any say...yeah, hello, that's called old school Germany.
I'll add that I used to hate people who said things like I just did ablove, but as the years go by and the laws keep getting tighter our freedoms are dwindling for sure. Fact. I wont argue it. And the black boxes are nothing more than a way to keep an eye on you.

I think its ok for a record to be made of any illegal things a car does such as speeding etc, As far as records of when and where we drive,NO WAY IN HELL. Its none of their business unless we are felons trying to escape the law
