No, too low class. Go for the CL65 AMG. That is the perfect car for 16 year old.

Sure, about a 1998 diesel. It's not a good value for the $$$ and odds are it'll spend a LOT of very expensive time in the shop, but it's a heavy, solid car.

A new one? Dream on, kiddo.

What I want to know is if this is serious at all (which I somehow doubt) and why one wouldn't be happy with a brand-new Mercedes of any model?

If my parents gave me a new Benz for my birthday I'd flip out and then park it in the garage, because I'd be paranoid about messing it up in any way.

Back when I was at Ole Miss, buddy of mine's Sorostitute GF refused her dad giving her a that year's Lexis... B/c it didn't have HEATED leather seats and a sun roof.

No account for people.

It's a good safe vehicle, but wasted on a 16 year-old who would probably be happier with a (cheaper) Mustang, and will probably wreck it within a few months when texting while driving.

that's freaking ridiculous. I should add that above scenario wouldn't ever happen with me- would I take one of my parents' cars if they wanted to give it to me? HELL YES. Am I happy with what I currently have (04 Nissan Xterra)? HELL YES.
