Can't speak for anything except that I drove a G35 coupe the day they came to town, and really liked it. I drove another when I was shopping for a car a year later, then drove a G37 last year. It's a great car, and what little time I spent in it I didn't find anything I didn't like. It was my second choice.
I'm always leery of cars from a non-brand specific dealer. Make sure you get any warranty (and how it's handled) in writing, get a thorough third party inspection, and know that there is probably a couple thousand $$$ of wiggle room, at least.
It's nice, I have a 2004 AWD sedan (G35x) that I bought new. It's been good to me, these models have a few known issues such as compression rods (suspension), throttle chamber, CD changer. Those are all that I can recall and my car had them all replaced at some point.
Mine has 58k on it and at this point I feel like it will run forever as long as I keep the maintenance up. I don't know what the coupes are worth but my X is worth about 12-13k according to the blue book. That's the price for a private sale, not from a dealer. You can probably talk them down a bit, depends on how long they have been sitting on the car and probably some other factors.
That's pretty much a base model G35 coupe. The car is worth $12k (clean trade) to $15k (retail). It looks really clean and that they may have done some work to it (brakes look new), so I would think a fair deal would be in the $13k range, assuming they probably paid $10k-$11k for it as a trade.
With all that said, that year is probably the least desirable of the G35's. The interior had a lot of shortcomings and was downright bargain basement with poor ergonomics and cheap materials. The 2005 and 2006 models of that generation are generally considred far more desirable than the older ones.

That's all true. The interior materials were a huge issue back then but I have to say that my interior is holding up nicely.
My CD changer died again on the way home today I think it's time for a new car soon, definitely within the next year. I wouldn't mind it too much but there are 5 discs stuck in it.
Let me know if you want a clean AWD sedan. Never seen snow.
