As long as they're driving a reasonable speed and they're doing in the RIGHT lane, let the putterers putter. But the idea that driving under the speed limit is safer than creating a bottleneck is misguided.
If you are so infirm or otherwise impaired so as to not be able to drive the legal speed limit, get off the road.
I, too, live on a little windy stretch of road with a 55 MPH limit, and the only accidents I see are people who were doing 40 and got rammed into by someone doing 55.
People like you cause far more accidents than speeding ever does.
Do everyone a favor and take a taxi.
Wow, what on earth are those people DOING (other than not paying attention their driving)? Around here we have tractors and other vehicles (mowers and such) who go a whole lot slower than I do. You have to be aware of the road conditions or you are going to be running into people ALL THE TIME! By the way, I have not "caused" a single accident, or for that matter hand any traffic violation for the past 20 years. I wonder if you can say the same. LOL

Tractors and mowers on four-lane highways? Around here that's illegal, and for damn good reason.
Excuse me, but there is a "SPEED LIMIT".... the left lane is not "The Fast Lane" just as the right lane is not "The Slow Lane".
I have NEVER, in all my 30+ years of driving, seen a sign that tells the slower traffic to keep right. I'm in NY so maybe they have them in other parts of the country but I've never seen them here.
If you do the speed limit, you'll be fine. What's your big rush, anyway?
But on State Highways, I believe that's going to vary greatly by state. Another of those little niceties that imperils lives.
yep; back in WI there were certain times when all the combines would hit the road from the fields to the plant, usually on county but also on state hiways when needed. Add in the many farmers that always had to travel down or cross the road in their tractors. Oh, don't forget the Amish buggies ( who unfortunately would get hit, not a good outcome ).
Sure the sign may say 55, but you have to watch what's in front of you. Have i've fumed a few times, yes especialy following somebody out for their leisurely Sunday drive ( on a Saturday, dang it! ), but unless I wanna perform some bump-drafting and sneak a pass on the inside, may as well sit back and enjoy the scenery for the few extra minutes it will take to get there...

I've always been particularly fond of the farmer, in the combine with the 30' header coming down the road. Of course, I can't say too much because that used to be me! Sometimes they just have to get to where they're going, and unfortunately it might tie up some traffic for awhile.
