That's such a broad question...what is your budget? You may also want to try posting in the Automotive sub-forum.

Depends on your tastes, budget and all. I'm loving my Chrysler 300. Very roomy and rides like silk.

I move it to the auto forum. I am also trying to decide if I want to buy a new car. I have the 'itch'. My son just bought a Kia Forte coup and he loves it. I have been looking at Camry's because of the specials they have had in H'ville. Of course, if I wait long enough they will be sold.

I have an 03 RAV4 with only 47K miles.. which makes it hard to justify buying a new car

Allowing for the subjective nature of this Q...
Best would probably be the Toyota Avalon and Nissan Altima.
(I suspect you could get the Lexus or Infiniti version of these if you're incline to pay more)

The 2012 Toyota Camry is a total redesign. Toyota just announced pricing and specs and photos are on their web site. I have been waiting 6 months for this car and it looks very nice from the photos.

It arrives in showrooms in Oct. They have a Camry hybrid with 200hp and that arrives in either Nov or Dec. I am leaning toward buying the hybrid. MPG is 43 city/39 highway. Very excited about this car.

Also the Hyundai Sonota is very nice with good MPG and is a head turner with a very good price. They are selling like hotcakes.

thanks for the answers. There are so many cars and they are so expensive. I can't wait till i go pick one. My only problem is that my kids are tall and are going to be taller , I need leg room and most cars don't give the back seat enough space in the floor. i am leaning towards the new camry and the 2011 outback. I had a 2000 outback for five years and it drove like a dream until it got a oil leak that would not stop cost me 1000 to fix then i sold it for a van, bad idea. . but i really would love too buy an american made car.

The camry is american made, so is a bunch of BMW's, for instance.

When you say american made, do you mean built in the US or made by a US brand, because there's a significant difference between the two.
