The 1970's was the decade Detroit's "Big 3" auto makers started making poor quality automobiles, but Chrysler was ahead of the rest in 1971.

Well, some folks liked putting an engine and steering wheel in your living room and hauling your hiney down the road strapped to your couch, some didn't.

I'll add that the style really worked better as a four door than a two but hey, if someone dropped one in my backyard, with about three tanks worth of gas so I could go down the hill and back, I would find that offer hard to refuse.

It was written by Dan Neil, who likes to think of himself as a car enthusiast, but who is really just a fan of high end European stuff. He's an egotistical journalist who now finds himself starring with Adam Carolla on "the car show" on Speed. He knows a million facts about these cars, but doesn't actually know a damn thing about cars in general.

As soon as I saw "50 worst cars of all time" I knew who wrote it and what a steaming pile of crap it would be.
