Independent shop told me struts were fine. Normal wear. Dealer was trying to up sell me with work that is not needed.

As I have posted before, this has been known to happen...the expression "stealer" did not come out of nowhere...

Glad to hear your car is fine.

You probably should consider some Bilstiens when the time comes IMHO. Just avoid the short "sport" ones that require a shorter, stiffer suspension spring - they should really be labeled "full race" or "track only" IMHO.

Keep this indy shop in mind as they were honest with you when the dealer was not -
