If you had crashed a 62 Caddy into a 62 VW bug the Caddy would have won hands down. And those were cars that were actually crashing into each other in 1962.

Silly to do a test like that.

I'd be willing to bet that the '62 in the test wasn't in very good condition to start with, either.
Wow, that is a great-looking '62 Cadillac! If only they had that styling now.
I own a Cadillac which is not much newer than a '62 (a '69, along with a '76) and I'll take my chances driving mine. It's much more fun to drive what you like!

You know, I posted the exact same thing on another forum in response to this video, and I was told I had warped priorities.

No one who likes that '62 Cadillac has warped priorities!
I always have liked finned cars, especially Cadillacs. If I didn't already own 4 cars, I would be tempted to look for an early-'60s or late-'50s Cadillac for sale. There is a black '62 Cadillac Limousine on eBay right now.

I have always loved that car and think it may be the most beautiful American car ever made.

I always thought the 1959 Eldorado looked really cool. In saying that, I still would not want to drive and own it.

Yes, I like the '59 Cadillacs, too.
And I definitely would want to drive and own one. (They are selling for a lot of dollars, so they are not exactly affordable for most people.) I already drive and own a '69 and '76 Cadillac, so why not a '59? And it sure would attract a lot of attention at car shows!

You can't say it any better than that.
