Chevy Traverse for $50K? Again it has to be the most fully-loaded AWD Traverse that one can possibly buy. My aunt and uncle own a 2011 Traverse LTZ and they paid less than $40K for it.

Domestics always have some great incentives for their big SUV's/Trucks so you NEVER pay sticker.

I grew up in small-town Iowa so I know what you mean about the old farmers coming into town and poking fun at people who drove "expensive foreign vehicles" while getting out of their $50K+ fancy pickup truck. My dad is one of those types who doesn't flinch at spending $50K for an F-150 but has a heart attack when he hears of someone paying that for a little "****-ass" BMW.
no hybrid but it did come with an LTZ package with dvd.

I was shocked and dismayed as well.

A 2011 (!!!) Tahoe for $63K is...ABSOLUTELY crazy. That's RIDICULOUS! I don't even like the look of it.

Hell I know a dealership where my dad shops at that has 2011 Escalades marked down to LESS than that 2011 Tahoe. Escalade>Tahoe every day of the week!

I'd go there and just laugh in their face if they told me they want $63K for that thing!

We don't buy vehicles based on a particular brand. We buy for what each individual vehicle offers us & what we are looking for. Frankly, our garage looks pretty darn funny- we have quite a spectrum, lol..

I can't believe a traverse sells for that much. It looks like about a $25000 car to me.

Might be true. Until the early 1980s, I had driven mostly GM cars and trucks for the past 50 years as a licensed driver. In the early 1980s, and into the 2000s, I owned a few Toyota trucks and cars and one Honda car along with my GM vehicles. All the Japanese vehicles I owned were great but, having recently retired to a rural area, I needed pulling power and a 4x4, so I went to a small late 1990s F150 V8 4x4. I find this truck to be built ever bit as well as my Tacomas and much more practical for my use.

I doubt that I will ever again own a GM vehicle but I would definitely own another F-series Ford. I may also consider a Camry or an Accord if ever gas mileage becomes a greater concern than hauling ability.

I have a relative that bought a Pilot because it was cheaper than a Traverse and it had more equipment. They even had a relative that worked for Chevy.

The Equinox is Chevy's 25000 SUV. Crazy.

A fully loaded Pilot or Highlander easily comes in under 40,000 why does GM have to price theirs in the mid 40,000?
