None...so far.
That's all I can remember. The speeds ranged from 2 or 3 over the limit to 48 over the limit, but most were in the 8-10 mph range. A rough estimate of the total fines is probably around $5,000.
And, no, I never lost my license or was even threatened with it.
Yes, I have insurance and the rates have never gone up. Partially, that's because for many years, my home state did not put out of state tickets on your driving record (and not all in-state) and because my carrier didn't hold them against me, so to speak. Also, over the years I adopted strategies to keep them off my record such as deferred adjudication, defensive driving or paying more to plead to a non-moving violation. At one point, I also had two licenses.
Note that I got most of those tickets back in the 70's and 80's and probably 95% of them while driving a big truck. Things were much different back then. Not every thing was considered a major crime.

The indentation on the first list marks the point at which I stopped speeding around town and opened up the throttle on the highways instead.
How much money do you reckon you've contributed to county coffers?
And how do you get that many speeding tickets without losing all your demerit points and having your drivers license suspended.?And are all those speeding tickets coming from a particular area or just generally all over the eastern part of the country?

It's actually more a quantity than quality issue. I go pretty fast but I don't do enough miles. I was hitting 95-100 mph at certain points on my drive back and forth to Boston this week. If I did that often enough, I'd be sure to be graced with a nice, juicy ticket. But in reality, I only drive 8,000 miles per year, much of it on local streets where I don't really speed.

Yeah, it really pretty much is a case of having the opportunity, unless you're just deliberately looking to wreck your driving record. When I got most of mine, I was driving an over the road truck and running 120-150,000 miles per year.
If we both had the same odds (tickets per thousand miles of driving), I'd should expect to have 15-20 times the number of tickets you have. And, I guess I do!

Haha, I haven't done the calculation but let's see. I've gotten 6 tickets in 33 years of driving, and I've driven maybe 8K miles per year over that time (I've taken public transportation to work). So that's one ticket every 44,000 miles. Probably a similar ratio per mile to what you have. Now I feel a little better.....
