Please help! Our brand new Honda Odyssey was subjected to the impulsivity of a fast-moving preschooler. I have black ball point pen scribbled on the back of a seat.
What I have tried: Witch Hazel, rubbing alcohol (70%), non-acetone fingernail polish remover, hairspray, and leather cleaner (Turtle). Nothing touched it except for the rubbing alcohol, which faded it to blue versus black.
Any advice???

Also try a Mr Clean Magic Eraser.. Or any brand like that.. Wet it and rub gently.. The stuff will come off..And leave no residue or fading

My SIL had this issue with marker and ballpoint on a leather sectional, not the leather in her Odyssey. What made it go away was regular use of leather cleanser and time. It was not there one minute and gone the next, but a quality leather cleaner such as Mothers or Zymol should help to diminish it. Since the stain they had was on a seating area, regular use also helped to diminish it. Anything that can remove it too quickly has the potential to damage the seat as well, so be careful. You might also consult a professional detailer if you do not want to deal with the removal process yourself.

FASTBALL: Industrial cleanser. DO NOT worry about the "industrial" label. It is available in single container purchase or by the case at professional janitorial supply companies and possibly Grainger or other companies like that, you can use it on windows and hard surfaces too (wicked awesome on scuff marks and non-oxidized gel coat fiberglass stains and scuffs). Read the label for ingredients, you will be surprised how safe it is! If you are truly concerned wipe the area down with a clean rag and warm water after. Spray the fastball on a clean paper towel, wipe area until pen mark is gone, then enjoy your clean interior!

I have used hand sanitizer to remove ink, even magic marker. It also gets your windows streak free. Just make sure you use a dry cloth. Hand sanitizer can also be used to remove stickers and labels. Just apply and let sit.
