Chevy traverse, I didn't like exterior design, but did read good reviews, so I'll test drive one soon.

Any other suggestions?
Try the GMC Acadia. Much better looking IMO.

Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage are same platform (5 passenger). 2.4L 175hp four cylinder or 260HP 2.0 turbo on Sportage.

Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento are same platform (available 3rd row for 7 passenger). 2.4L 175hp four cylinder or 275HP 3.5L V6.

I've found the Kia's offer better features and a lower price (example, 260HP turbo is only on the Sportage, and Kia has the cooled seats, and there are some other examples in the Optima line).

I have a 2011 Nissan Murano that I like. It is very spacious inside with tons of rear seat legroom. Since it's a crossover it drives like a car and has plenty of power. It's as quiet as a Lexus on the highway and you can get a mid-trim SL model for $30k new (even less if you can find any leftover 2011's.) This picture may not seem impressive but this is my first SUV and my cars could never swallow a bike whole.

Default Bicycle in car

Lol... I regularly put my wife's bike in my ca, and I have a Subaru Impreza hatchback. It's not hard at all. My '98 Subaru Outback could swallow it even easier.

Still, your Murano looks like it is well designed on the inside to easily accept the bike and prevent staining. Nice.

Agreed. The Traverse is ugly.

By swallow whole I meant without removing the front wheel which is a PITA. My BMW 330i could fit my bike too with the seats folded and front wheel removed (saw a guy with an M3 do the same thing.)

I also used to carry my hybrid bike (XL frame) in my 2010 M3 Coupe with the rear seats folded and the front tire removed.
