I'm almost embarrassed to say how much time i spent on this one, in fact Gimme3steps would be well within his rights to say i need to get a life

Yes, it is indeed an Ogle SX1000.

The Ogle was built on the chassis of a Mini (the original one), and seemed like a good proposition until safety concerns were raised about its handling. The CEO, Mr. Ogle, was killed in one while demonstrating it for the press!

#258 is a Datsun SPL-310 (or 311)--circa 1967--a truly bad car.
How do I know?
Because my brother owned one of these abominations!

However, I thought that we would hold off on posting another picture to identify until someone correctly identified Jambo's white sports car.

Sorry. I spent the better part of the summer of '68 in one. Your right, it wasn't a good car at all.
