I think the site went wrong over that one (red car) . Look at the headlight positioning, grill shape, the 'hash' marks on the side of the hood, and the MG badge on the grille (seen on the other cars on the site). The car to be identified differs on all these points. It's not an MG TF.

Sure, it's the same model as the one I posted. But I don't think it is an MG. The grille shape and other details are different. All MG sports cars of the TD-TF series ha a prominent MG badge on top of the grille, which is not on the car. It's a different make. The web-site mis-identifies it as an MG TF.
Sharp call.. further research comes up with a Singer 4ad roadster..
Excellent! It is a Singer Nine, or 4ad, or Roadster. Weird to think both the Singer and the MG were on the market at the same time with almost identical designs.
