I hear you. Was just curious. Come on over to NJ and we can race.

Congratulations! I am sure you will really enjoy the car... a very nice looking ride.

My son has a C6 and even though life changes has had him buy two more vehicles he has held on to the Vette as a good weather toy... they are impressive.

The HUD is bad ass and quite useful.

CONGRATS Speedy!

If you ever take a long road trip and wind up around KC....holler at me and we'll go cruising!

Mine is sitting outside right now and in 30minutes I will take a little zip towards home, probably go the long way as it's over 50 here today.

2008 Chevrolet Corvette Crystal Red For Sale Corvette World Dallas TX (http://www.corvetteworlddallas.com/Inventory/Chevrolet/2008/Corvette/304 - broken link)

SOLD

Literally a day after posting a previous thread about looking around for a new toy, my brother who lives in Dallas called me with a lead on the (almost) exact vehicle I'm looking for and the price point I'm looking at.

Called the dealership yesterday, told them I'm interested in two vehicle on their lot, told them my brother is coming to test drive both, and would see what he thinks. Short story, brother said both are in fantastic condition and thinks either would be an excellent choice.

Took this afternoon off from work, been on the phone with the dealership for about a half hour dickering price. Came to a deal about an hour ago. I've never bought a car sight unseen before so I'm a bit nervous but place 100% trust in my brother, who is as anal as I am, to look over everything.

Thought about flying out to pick it up, thought about shipping it, but I decided to wire my brother X amount I paid for it, have him purchase the car in his name, have him drive it to AZ, and pay to fly him back. That way I get to see him and hang out with him for a few days. \

I'm excited!!!
Not too shabby, good luck.

Grand Sports are a waste of money now that you can get essentially a ZO6/427 convertible!
