Same here. I am a pilot and often I have my radio on listening to Aircraft bands.
When with the wife, we listen mainly to popular *classical music*, not the kind that sounds like a cat in heat ...

Just driving around town, the radio is usually off. If its a longer highway ride, it's usually the local 80's/90's station.

Mostly classic rock or news/talk. Sometimes Christian message. Sometimes new wave/punk fromt he 1970s-1980s. Sometimes classical music. Sometimes New music that my son left in the car (screamo, pop, rock, rap and Dub step). In the mornings I will sometimes listen to inane juvinile rock station morning shows where kids acll in and pretend to engage in various sexual perversions. You do need to numb your brain out a bit on occaisions.

I have XM/Satellite Radio in my car. Stations are pre-set to First Wave, 80s and 90s, and Lithium (90s Alternative radio station). I find it hard to switch to a local radio station anymore. I hate commercials!

I listen to the car, road, and outside noises. (Have the radio turned down low to a rock station.)

Then I can hear if something goes wrong with the car, emergency vehicles, and when backing up if someone is yelling at me to stop - makes for safer driving...

I always listen to music when I drive. My favorite driving music is downtempo techno and chill out music. The kind of music on Sirius XM Chill, more or less. That or jazz. (Not easy listening or "smooth" jazz, think Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Coleman Hawkins and the like).

I have Sirius XM.

Listen mainly to ESPN on the morning drive (Mike & Mike), and MadDog on the evening drive (Dino Costa). When they are on commercial break, I switch to the top 20 station (#2).
