That's quite funny considering that some mats for the front alone cost over $170.00. For example WatherTech and some Husky.

I thought throwing out perfectly good mats every week or two was kinda crazy.

i live in an apartment bldg and don't have access to a hose or faucet would you recommend cleaning them in my bathtub in soapy water or just spraying them with all purpose cleaner or a sponge wash in soap? i know this isn't rocket science but i am trying to avoid the mats from getting too brittle then bunching up in certain areas esp the driver's side mat which can slide under the brake pedal
What I do, is hang them on those hooks in the do it yourself power wash car wash. I spray them w/ the nozzle....let them drip while then washing the car. You could take a plastic storage box, or large heavy duty leaf bags...then put them in your trunk for the drive home and let them air dry over a fence at home. Works really well. Or if you have a power washer to use at home, do it there.

If the rubber is strong and the stains are stubborn just use Soft Scrub with a scrub brush.

Armorall will make them slippery,l which can be hazard to people getting in our out of your car.

No matter what precautions you take, they are going to assume depressions under the spot where you rest your foot while driving, because they will flex from sinking into the carpet beneath. There is nothing you can do to keep that from happening.
