Soo I'm in desperate need of a car but I only have a little over $800. Any advice on how to buy a really cheap used car? I know I don't have alot of money but this is all I have to work with right now.
If you have so little money to buy a car, will you have enough money to insure, register and license, and pay for gas for it?
Most cars at your price point are going to be older with problem areas. Will you be able to fix these items if they are essential to the utility of the car?
Your best sources are most likely private party sales of older domestic cars that are unwanted or no longer needed. Try Craigslist for such sales.
Avoid "buy here pay here" car resales. At this price point, they're unlikely to have a car that will be reliable transportation.
Thanks for the advice! I need the car so that I can actually get a job without having to constantly ask for rides. I've looked on Craigslist and you're right that there's nothing reliable there now.

Save more money.
What you can buy for $800 will be lucky to last a couple months without significant repairs.

You need just a little more, as in $1,200 or so. You can find a car for that which will be cosmetically bad, but mechanically good.

Not a bad idea when you consider that many states don't require you to register or insure them and they're really good on gas and some of them actually look pretty darn cool. You can use them in the carpool lane and they're a lot easier to find a place to park. Then again if you're not in a climate that supports using them, then its back to the drawing boards.
Thanks everyone! I definately need to save more money but who knows how long that will take since I don't have a job right now. If I had a car, it would be easier for me to find work. I'm literally at my wits end with this car situation. I need one asap and I don't have enough money. I literally need abour $2,000 to fall out of the sky.

Save a little more then buy the newest Honda Civic that you can afford. It will be old, but reliable.
Will do. That's exactly the car I'm looking to buy.
