Looking to add a second car to my "collection" Currently have an 06 Trailblazer 4x4, currently its my dd(and it probably will remain) Looking for something thats fun to drive, easy to mod and still gets decent mpg(I would like mid 20's)(tb gets between 15-18(its lifted and has bigger tires, blah blah blah) My only requirements are Manual Trans and no more then $7500, would like RWD, but if I find a killer deal on a Integra/RSX I may jump on it. So far What I have on my list is
Miata, 240sx, 300zx, S2000(may be pushing it price wise), Mustang, Firebird(no camaro's.....) anything else I am forgetting?

out of that list, and based on funds, i'd say Miata or Mustang would give you more options to choose from
I know the F-bodys are faster stock, but I will NOT own a Camaro(best friend was killed in one in HS and the car folded like a beer can, seeing that car really left an impact) Finding a WS-6 in my price range is going to be tough. If I am going to go mustang, it's going to be a Fox body or an SN95

I do prefer the the WS6 Trans-Am...I like the looks of the SN95 but the performance is less than that of the fox body stock for stock...although a SN-95 4.6 could have a new DOHC 4-valave 5.0 Coyoyte swapped in but it would be a bit more than your budget is set at.. But man it would be one beast of a car IMO...
whoops.. I was trying to edit my other post but hit delete by mistake...
I think a 240 with a SR20DET would be sweet. Cheap, reliable and RWD.
If you're looking at Integras, there's also the '91-'94 Sentra SE-R. You can swap in a SR20DET in those too. I've owned an Integra GS-R and multiple SE-Rs. IMO, the SE-R is much more fun.

240's seem unreasonably expensive, most of the ones around here, are ragged or riced out, and the ones that are people want too much money for. I loved my GS-R too but I think I would just worry about it getting stolen (again)

My vote is Mustang or Miata, only because the aftermarket for either is so incredibly extensive.

Technicaly they are the same car, but different enough for me. Aftermarket for the 240 is just as good, the problem is finding a good example

At your price point you could should be able to find a reasonably nice foxbody. That gets my vote all day under $7500. Have had two, will have another lol.
